Contents' Page Feedback

1st persons’ feedback:

‘I really like the simple layout and design of your contents page as it doesn’t follow the conventions of a normal magazine which gives it individuality. I also really like how you have followed the idea of the red title from your front cover as it keeps it all linked and keeps it consistent and makes it look professional. I really like the way you’ve also incorporated the blue colour from the front cover onto the contents page and it highlights the different points in the page names which will get the audience wanting to read on. You need to check your page numbers and possibly add a few more pages around the page and space out your pages slightly more so you will have around 35 pages for a weekly magazine.’

2nd persons’ feedback:

‘I think you have made good use of your images and I really like how you have created a transparent image to perform as your background for this page. However, I am unsure about the overlapping images so you could experiment and move them around the page in order to see where they look best on the page. You need to change your page numbers and add the letter ‘a’ in the word ‘ultimate’. I think in order to create even more consistency you could create something that starts on your front cover and is included on every page e.g. a red line along the top or the bottom of the pages. I also think to improve the overall look of the page; you could play around with different effects on the writing to give them a shadow. So the audience know that it is a weekly magazine you could have the issue number and also something like ‘in this weeks’ edition…’ under the title this will also fill the gap on the top right-hand-side.’
